I'm
not a search engine and I have no idea what you might like.
But here are links to some things I think pretty highly of.
Interesting
Web Sites
The
Mojo City News
Mojo City is a small city in Oregon with a big clown problem.
Another of Dr. Stene's crazed online adventures.
Voyd
Digital
art, social theory, political advocacy, general mayhem. Web
home of Patrick Lichty, whom I'm proud to say is a personal
friend, unless you work for the FBI, CIA, or NSA, in which
case I've never heard of the guy.
The
Myth of the American Superhero
Robert Jewett and John Shelton Lawrence's site, devoted to
studying the idealized, fantasy violence so distinctive for
American pop culture.
The
National Adult Baseball Association
After years of suffering through the cultural blight that
is slow-pitch softball, I'm now back at the real game,
baseball. The NABA is a nationwide organization and probably
has a league near you.
AllMusic.com
A
remarkable encyclopedias of music information.

Alumnage
I was fortunate as a student - I attended three superb
universities on my way to the PhD. My undergrad institution,
Wake Forest,
is now one of America's Top 30 universities. Iowa
State, where I earned my M.A., is best known for its
science and technology curricula, but it also boasts an outstanding
writing program. Finally, the University
of Colorado is the premier institution of higher education
in the Rocky Mountain region, and its School
of Journalism and Mass Communication boasts one of
the best doctoral programs in the nation.
